Whether developing another footwear brand for Footstar's own divisions or a new footwear and accessory line for external customers, this group manages the process from design and production to quality control and shipment. FGS produces over 1,000 different styles in all categories of footwear and apparel.

FGS capitalizes on a core factory base, providing development teams with an average of over 25 years expertise in the footwear business. FGS draws on this expertise and experience to manage the volume Footstar requires as one of the leading discount footwear companies in the U.S. They are committed to maintain a 98.0% ON-TIME delivery record while meeting clients' high standards for quality.

FGS enjoys one of the lowest return rates in the industry (less than 1%). Utilizing a liaison office in Hong Kong, FGS is well-positioned to monitor, control and deliver reliable, quality leather and synthetic products for all of its customers - anywhere in the world.

FGS utilizes state-of-the-art ISO 9001-2000 certified laboratory facilities (also members of AATCC, ASTM and AALA) with access to 47 quality control professionals on site in China, and a commitment to pre and production testing following OSHA/ANSI procedures where applicable.
