Beyond the development and testing of footwear and apparel products for Footstar and other clients, FGS does business as Five Star Packaging which specializes in packaging services for all types of paperboard and corrugate items, hang tags, labels and hangers. FGS's monthly packaging capacity exceeds 100 million pieces.

We use electronic data interchange between packaging production and all print and plastics manufacturing facilities and provide on site quality control inspection teams. Due to the easy transfer of information, all clients receive a fast turnaround for their samples.

With paper-base projects, FGS provides one to six color printing, oil, varnish and UV coatings. For plastic-based projects (hangers, trays, hang tags, toys etc.), FGS has injection and thermo form plastic production facilities.

Recently Five Star Packaging has focused on "Green" packaging made from bamboo, grass, sugar cane fiber and PLA. We are also exploring the next step which may be Terraskin, paper made from rocks and other harmless minerals. Five Star Packaging has the capability to do one to six color printing with all types of coating, displays, plastic packaging including blister packs and tableware made from grass and sugar cane fiber.
