and Xiamen, China test Footstar and non-Footstar products. They do business under the name
of Five Star Testing Laboratories and are members of AATCC, ASTM and AALA. The Labs are
staffed with qualified technicians with in-depth knowledge of testing equipment, performance
and calibration. The Lab achieves the fastest possible turn-around time for all test requests
received.
The laboratory staff conducts tests on all types of footwear and leather products following OSHA/ANSI procedures where required.
FGS provides comparative testing, garment and textile testing,
specialized customs testing necessary for optimum customs classification
as well as safety testing for possible lead, other contaminants and choking hazards.
